Good Samaritan in the rain

THE EDITOR, Sir:
If you should detect a teardrop on this page, it’s the joy I experienced on the afternoon of Saturday, September 7, in rainy weather.
I stood along the busy roadway as my car had developed mechanical defects and would not move, or moved slowly before getting stuck.
After waiting for a while and praying silently, I suddenly saw someone walk towards me making enquiries. Thank you, Rolando. Heaven must have sent you.
Amid the heavy rain, you voluntarily drove a far distance away, picked up the mechanic, and returned to the scene, and with a heart of goodwill you waited and did the return trip.
Thank you, my fellow motorist, for your act of kindness. You are indeed my hero. I will call you ‘Angel’ sent from above.
