Crack down on pit bull owners

ThE EDITOR, Sir:
Pit bulls are very dangerous dogs. You never know when they will attack.
We need to eradicate them from Jamaica. Meanwhile, educational material on how to handle them, especially if they are in an attack mode, should be distributed widely.
The owner of these dogs is to pay all the medical bills and whatever other damages that follow. No one needs to miss out on life’s opportunities because of someone else’s need to own these dangerous animals in a residential community.
