Give justice to the little people, too

THE EDITOR, Sir:
How is it that the police are always quick to defend the rich and powerful but not the poor? What, if anything, became of the taxi driver who was videoed beating the schoolboy with his belt? Probably nothing because the boy was a nobody, but Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn is a member of parliament, so, of course, the cops hunted down and charged the cabbie who allegedly attacked her.
We need justice for the little people, not just the rich and powerful.
