No FLOW service for five months

THE EDITOR, Sir:

I have read numerous letters and other commentary on the service provided by FLOW, and I wonder if this company is serious about business and treating their customers with decency.

I have had a landline with them for the last 23 years. On April 14, 2019, I reported that my landline has not been working. Each time I call to see if the problem is fixed, I am told that the line is down and that they cannot tell me when service will return. Please note, however, that they do not fail to send a bill every month.

The last few times I have called their customer service centre, I was informed that the only way around this is to visit their office for them to move me to another platform. If I wanted to be moved to another platform, I would have gone to the competitor. I guess this is what they seem to be pushing me to do, or simply to forget about a landline and rely on cell phones only.

Customer service personnel give the impression that we are obligated to them and not the other way around. Talking to a supervisor does not make much of a difference.

If you are not interested in your customer base, why not close your doors?
