Condolences to family of Norris Rainford

THE EDITOR, Madam:
It is with disbelief that I heard of the passing of Norris Rainford from your sister company, Radio Jamaica, on the Hot Line talk show.
Talk-show host, Emily Shields was speaking to Dwayne Berwick from the National Housing Trust (NHT). So, I went to check, and there it was in The Gleaner of Monday, February 24, ‘NHT manager collapses, dies In 5K.’
Some 20 years ago, I met Norris in Kingston where he lived then. We became morning running partners. He moved to the west, but we have remained in touch. After not communicating with him for a little while, I made contact with him by e-mail just the week before last. Norris is gone? As soon as I heard, I tried to call his wife, but to no avail. Condolences!
