Social-distancing foul-up

THE EDITOR, Madam:
MICHAEL BARNETT and Orville Taylor of the sociology department of The University of the West Indies hit the nail on the head a few days ago. Both men spoke to the misuse of the term ‘social distancing’, which one has blatantly and rightfully termed as nonsense.
Barnett is right when he said, “Yes, the term has now garnered worldwide use by people from all walks of life, from politicians to intellectuals, to journalists, to lay persons”, and question its appropriateness.
What both men failed to understand, or seem not to believe, is that the term’s use was no mistake as such. It’s what the circle of culprits had in mind. When one has a plan to depopulate, then there will also be a plan to socially distance people into economic chaos.
The world took it on, making the plan by the Illuminati a reality. Still, there is more to come; yes, the Bible does mention that there are scary things to come. This social distancing term is something the circle of culprits hope will stick as a new phenomenon.
Jamaica was known as the ‘Pearl of the Caribbean’ in the 1960s, a period during which we became independent of other countries politically, attracting leaders such as Lee Kuan Yew, who later turned Singapore into a First-World country with the ideas he got from here.
Let us not follow the rest of the world by continuing with this stupid and devious phenomenon. Let’s make Jamaica a place for the world to follow. And only dunce will question the possibility of that becoming a reality.
