Fix the traffic lights at Drax Hall!

THE EDITOR, Madam:

The Knutsford Express St Ann terminal is now located at Drax Hall. There are other business places there which serve the public.

The area where these business places are located is on a side street. Fixtures for the installation of traffic lights have been in place for the last 18 months or so, and to date these lights are not in place.

As someone who uses that area often enough, I find it very difficult to exit on the main road. One day, unfortunately, the absence of this traffic light is going to put out somebody’s light.

This is very, very serious and I am calling on the authorities to complete this installation of the traffic lights, which are needed urgently so we can all be safe when we have to exit that thoroughfare.
