Keep your cell phone private

THE EDITOR, Madam:

I am appealing to all the women of Jamaica, whom this hat fits, to stop endangering their lives with their cellular phones, by carrying them in their hands while travelling in the public and on the public transport. Prevention is better than cure; and, it’s better to be safe than sorry.

When you expose your big and expensive cell phone to the public, it’s like when you are setting a bait for the rat or for the fish. If you can afford to do so, leave your phone at home, and carry a cheap or local one with you – or keep your prized-possession cell phone in your bag, and stop putting it on display for the thieves.

I am tired of seeing some women being careless with their mobiles – walking with them from point A to point B. And they also put their phones in their back pockets, which can be easy prey for someone to grab.

Stop gambling with your life, time is very serious. The heart of man has become desperately wicked. Some men have changed from human beings, and have become dangerous monsters.
