Champs was a resounding success

THE EDITOR, Madam:
Congratulations Jamaica College and Edwin Allen High School for emerging winners at this year’s Champs. Thank you all the persons who worked assiduously with the student athletes. Commendations to the administrators, coaches, assistant coaches, managers, parents, principals, and all other stakeholders – a big thumbs up to them.
Given the circumstances and the COVID-19 pandemic, I believe that this is one of the most successful Champs ever. To see smiles on the faces of the students, I believe, gave immense gratification to their teachers and other members of staff at their schools.
What we witnessed was trailblazing, the future of Jamaican track and field is strong, even coronavirus can’t stop us!
