Watering down standards in schools to what end?
THE EDITOR, Madam:
The Ministry of Education and Youth cannot keep adjusting rules to accommodate the public!
I thought it was ridiculous to wear brown socks at Manchester High but I had to wear it. Do I bring the school before the courts for breaching my right to wear football socks? Once the hair issue is out of the way at GC Foster, what next? The right to show your underwear!? And if the teachers can’t adhere to the rules, how will they hold the students accountable?
If we don’t nip the erosion of standards in the bud, then heaven help us. An ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. We see it in our children.
A look from our parents was enough back in the day, now we have to be bribing our children and in some cases begging the police to lock them up.
That is what the foreign powers that seek to control our nation want. Build more prisons. Water down the rules like them. Weaken our nation so they can rule us.
Eternal Father, keep us free from evil powers.
