Olympian Kaliese Spencer weds pastor

The New Year has brought a matrimonial beginning for Jamaican Olympian Kaliese Spencer and the love of her life, Reverend Michael A. Carter.  

Spencer, a 400 metre hurdler, has had a successful career holding one of the best records on the lucrative Diamond League Circuit, racking up four championship diamonds.

The athlete, in her off season, has decided to run a different race.

She made the matrimonial announcement in two Instagram posts.

"In field events, generally one wins a race. This week though, both of us won, Love won. May your 2019 be filled with happiness #offseason #guesswhogotmarried #cutecouple," Spencer wrote in one of the posts.
