Hassle free travel, Caribbean style

Being born into a culture that has a vast impact on the world stage where food, music, sports and tradition, are concerned, is indeed something to be proud of. Every time you turn on the television, for example, and see the black, green and gold, waving across the international stage, the feeling of unexplainable pride, bubbles in your heart.

However, with Jamaica ranked number 50 on the Passport Power Rank List, having a Jamaican passport can be a task when you are ready to explore what the world has to offer, especially if you are on a budget.

As Jamaicans, we tend to forget that we hold a CARICOM passport and we are able to stay up to six months in any CARICOM country, without the hassle that is attached to acquiring a visa.

Travelling within the Caribbean means shorter trips within the same time zone, which decreases the risk of becoming jetlagged. Wasting precious adventure time trying to overcome daytime fatigue, constipation and insomnia, is a travel con we can all live without.

So, if you’re looking to vacation on a budget without having a major culture shock while laying on beautiful white sand beaches and sipping on margaritas, you should definitely consider hopping over to one of our neighboring CARICOM countries.
