The Wrong Mr Right

Handsome, sweet, smart and charming. All these characteristics mark the making of a beautiful relationship. There's just one problem. Something doesn’t feel right. And it's in no way the fault of either parties involved: it really wasn't meant to be. If you're looking for Mr Right and for whatever reason, you are unsure of the potential status of your hopefully beloved, here are a few tips to determine if you're dating a Mr Right Now:

Your friends are his foes

Your friends are the ones who know you the best. And if they don’t like him, then chances are, something is definitely wrong with him. Also, if you find that he is intent on isolating you spending any time with them, and makes himself the focal point when it comes to getting all of your attention, that’s definitely not a good sign of a fully functional relationship.

He pushes you to manic mode

Simply put, if he brings out your crazy side, and not the nice kind, then that means he is doing more harm than good to your peace of mind and should not be explored any further. Friends maybe?

Unwelcoming change

On the topic of change, you may discover that you are truly being yourself while drawing closer to your significant other. Then who is he getting to know? The real you? Or the version that you have created for him? Food for thought.

You’re not a priority

Life doesn’t always offer the convenience to free time, so it can get busier than anybody would ever bargain for. But if he’s making more time for others, and you have to join the line for a little attention, then you’re just a convenience, and no good woman deserves that.

Emotional disconnect

Sexual attraction and chemistry is great, but it is nothing more than a booty call without an emotional connection. That’s the thread that firmly holds a relationship together.

Gut feeling

In the end, nothing beats gut feeling. So if it is the case that this might not be the best fit for you, then you’re pursuing or engaging under false pretenses. And while it is not recommended that you throw in the towel before even trying, it’s true when they say ‘you gotta know when to hold them, know when to fold them, know when to walk away and know when to run’. This Mr Right might just be wrong for you.
