The Kenneth Baugh Health Centre officially opened its doors in Point Hill, St Catherine, on Wednesday. Minister of Health and Wellness Dr Christopher Tufton, along with Baugh’s widow, Vilma, and his children, Melanie Schwapp and Gregory Baugh, were on hand for the handover of the $42-million Type 3 health centre. Dr Kenneth Baugh served as Jamaica’s health minister for nine years and a former member of parliament for the St Catherine West Central constituency. Something Extra brings you the highlights.
