Singer-songwriter Naomi Cowan recently dazzled at the New York staging of the Star Girl Mixtape Listening Party. The private event, which she co-hosted alongside Grammy award-winning producer Walshy Fire, who also had a hand in producing the mixtape, lured music industry elites from all over to Lovers Rock in Brooklyn. The lavish lounge caters to reggae and rum lovers, and served as the meeting ground of the like-minded, who all supported the songbird as she not only gave an exclusive listen of her mixtape, but also a live performance of a few tracks. New York photographer Aaron Ortiz’s camera captured some of the guests with Naomi Cowan as she made her rounds. Here are some of the highlights.
