Well-known attorney-at-law Harold Brady has been arrested and charged by investigators at the police Fraud Squad.
Attorney Raymond Clough, who attended the question-and-answer session held this afternoon, says Brady has been charged in relation to the sale of a house for businessman Jeffery Panton.
Clough said Brady has been granted bail in the amount of $3 million.
But the attorney says it is likely that he will remain in custody as he may not meet one of the bail conditions.
The police have asked Brady to produce a valuation report for the property in question.
