Bus conductor in deadly Kingston hit-and-run surrenders to police

The bus conductor wanted for killing a woman and injuring three others in a hit-and-run in Kingston last Saturday, is now in police custody.
Senior Superintendent of Police, in charge of the Police Traffic Division, Calvin Allen, says the man turned in himself at the Darling Street Police Station today.
He says investigations are ongoing and an announcement will be made once charges have been laid.
The police have identified the dead woman as 32-year-old Patrice Nelson of a Kingston 19 address.
Nelson was one of four women mowed down by a Toyota Coaster bus on Pechon Street.
It's understood that the designated driver parked the bus along the roadway and left to use a bathroom.
The conductor allegedly attempted to move the vehicle and lost control of it.
