When security guard and long-time Heineken drinker Kevin Pryce opened a cold bottle of his favourite brew, he had no idea it was about to open a door that would take him from Kingston to the Big Apple.

Pryce was one of two winners of Heineken's 'Cities' promotion, which was launched this past summer. The promotion offered two lucky winners a chance to open their worlds with trips to two of the most popular cities in the world - New York and London. Heineken is known for bringing excitement and innovation to its promotions, as it did with it's Spectre campaign, which brought the Bond experience to Jamaica.

"The Cities promotion gave us a chance to help our consumers experience cities across the world. Heineken is the premium choice for Jamaicans from every walk of life, and with this promotion, they got a chance to open their world. We're pleased to bring great value and new experiences," said Rochelle Clarke, country manager for Heineken. After hearing he was a competition winner, Pryce said he was blown away by the all expenses paid trip to New York.

"Since I've known myself, I've been drinking Heineken. It's a good thing because now I get to experience what it means to 'Open a Bottle and Open Your World'," said Pryce. The beer brand has plans to make the same opportunity available to other Heineken drinkers in 2016.

"January will be a new chapter in the Heineken journey and we are really excited about the synergies that will come to life," said Clarke. "We will expand our Cities promotion and continue to deliver the quality our consumers expect and give them even more opportunities to open their world."
