File Police take hold of an Uzi submachine gun that was recovered during the joint police-military operation in a community called ‘Crusher’ in east rural St Andrew last week.

Deputy Commissioner George Quallo said the police will continue to search until alleged gangster 'Duppy Film' is found.

Last week, 'Duppy Film', whose real name is Marlon Perry, managed to elude members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force and the Jamaica Defence Force who were seeking to capture him in a major joint operation in the Harbour View area of St Andrew.

However, one of his cronies was killed in the operation and another taken into custody.

DCP Quallo said he could not disclose any information about the man taken into custody, pending further investigation.

He also declined to comment on the progress of the search for Perry but insisted the police would not stop until the alleged gangster is found.
