TAJ reopens downtown Kingston TRN card centre

Tax Administration Jamaica (TAJ) is advising that the Taxpayer Registration Card Centre in downtown Kingston is to reopen tomorrow after a one week closure.

The location, shops 26 & 27 in the Kingston Mall, was closed on July 15 following a murder-suicide.  

The TAJ, in a release this afternoon, says "steps were taken to assess the damage, undertake clean-up activities and improve the security arrangements to ensure the smooth restoration of operations at that location". 

The staff at the location continues to receive counselling, TAJ says.
