A teenager was among two men killed by gunmen who were reportedly travelling in a car yesterday in Anchovy, St James. Two other men were also injured in the shooting incident.

Those killed have been identified as 16-year-old Bertland Danielle Gray of Reading district, and 35-year-old Leon Gillings, otherwise called ‘Shakey’,  a vendor of Mount Carey district.

The Anchovy police say 2:15 p.m. yesterday Gillings was at his stall with Gray along two other men when a silver motorcar pulled up with a group of men.

It is reported that two men exited the vehicle and ordered a coconut. The men then pulled handguns and opened fire hitting all four men.

The injured men were taken to hospital where Gillings and Gray were pronounced dead and the other two men admitted.
