Paramount’s Christmas cheer - More than 800 children feted
Paramount Trading extended its annual Christmas helping hand and feted more than 800 children at its Waltham Park Road facility last Saturday.
The treat, which has been a feature of the company's corporate social responsibility for the past 14 years, catered to children from Waltham Park Road and its environs, Spanish Town Road, Union Gardens, and Delacree communities.
Managing director of Paramount Trading Hugh Graham says the Christmas Treat is an important way of giving back to the community.
"It's important for us to give back as the children are close to our hearts as we strive for changes within our communities. The parents and children both look forward to this calendar event - a fun-filled day at no cost to them," said Graham.
The festivities began with the children enjoying various rides and an array of food. They also received toys and Christmas keepsakes as memories of the yearly event.
The day culminated with music by Lover's Choice and onstage performances from Icah Maw, Agent Sasco, Tanto Blacks, and others.
Paramount Trading partnered with 15 other companies to execute the treat. These included Alleghny Petroleum, Coldfield Manufacturing, Kingston Hireage, Juici Patties, CMK Bakery, Crazy Jim, Main Event, CPJ, Omega Manufacturing, Kirk Distributors, Wild Rides, Roots FM, Virginia Dare, Jamaica Biscuit Company, Stewart's Automotive Group, and Cal's manufacturing.
