A policeman who was held with an illegal gun was granted $250,000 bail when he appeared in the Portland Parish Court yesterday.

Constable Dumar Ducally and his co-accused, Keino Miller and Ussain Hoilet are charged with illegal possession of a firearm.

Miller was also offered $250,000 bail while Hoilet was remanded.

Ducally and Miller were ordered to surrender their travel documents and report to the Constant Spring Police Station three times per week as conditions of their bail.

All three are to return to court November 11.

The accused were arrested on October 22 by the police after a .45 pistol was found during a search of a car they were travelling in. They were later charged.
