Some 100 workers at oil refinery Petrojam are now on work to rule to press the company’s management to address outstanding labour issues.
The workers are represented by the Union of Clerical, Administrative, and Supervisory Employees (UCASE).
UCASE General Secretary, John Levy, says the workers are upset that the company has failed to complete a job evaluation exercise that began in 2011.
Levy says they are also upset that the company has not signed off on the 2015-17 wage agreement.
He noted that this has affected negotiations for the new contract period.
