UPDATED: NWC regulating water in sections of St James due to dry conditions
The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that operations at the Endeavour facility in St James have been reduced to 50% capacity due to the effects of the dry spell affecting the parish.
The NWC says effective immediately and until further advised, it will be regulating water as follows:
Mondays - Wednesdays: areas served by the Mafoota facility, which include Mafoota, Mount Carey, Rocky Hill, Whales Pond, Lawson, Comfort Hall and Windsor Castle.
Thursdays - Sundays: areas served by the Endeavour facility, which include Mount Horeb, Rushea, Fern, Hopeton, and Buckingham.
The NWC is urging residents to store water for use during the period they will be without.
