Three men arrested, two thousand lottery scamming lead sheets seized in St James

A wanted man was among three persons arrested and charged by the police during a special operation in Bogue Hill, St James on Saturday.

Arrested and charged are 22-year-old Dennis Brown, otherwise called ‘Bobby’, and 29-year-old Orane Smith, otherwise called ‘Bond’, both of Bogue Hill addresses, who are charged with possession of identity information.

Sean Headley, otherwise called ‘Tall Man’, who was wanted by the St James Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA) for rape, was arrested and a warrant issued by the St James Parish Court for absconding bail was executed on him.

The police say during the operation 27 persons were arrested and 20 abandoned premises searched.

They say they also seized lottery scamming paraphernalia including 2,000 papers containing names, addresses and telephone numbers of persons residing overseas.
