Glock pistol, 19 rounds seized in Park Lane, St Andrew

The police say a Glock pistol with a magazine containing nineteen 9mm cartridges was recovered during a joint operation with the military along Park Lane, Constant Spring, in St Andrew this morning.

There was no arrest in connection with the seizure.

Reports are that the illegal weapon and ammunition were found on top of a house during a search of a premises sometime between 3:30 a.m. and 9: 30 a.m.
