A third child involved in yesterday's motor vehicle crash along the Rose Hall main road in St James has died.

She is the sister of one of the two other students who succumbed yesterday.

The driver of car transporting the students to the John Rollins Success Primary School was also killed in the early morning crash.

In another tragedy last night, one woman was killed and two other persons injured after the bus in which they were travelling picked up a skid along the Shettlewood main road in Hanover.

The victims are reportedly from Salt Spring in St James and Westmoreland.

It is reported that the woman who was thrown from the bus after it hit an embankment was subsequently crushed by the vehicle.

The driver and the other passenger were taken to the Cornwall Regional Hospital.

NOTE: An earlier version of this story had incorrectly said three people were killed in the Hanover crash. In fact, three people were involved in the crash, however, only one died. We regret the error.
