The National Water Commission (NWC) is reporting that production at its Reading Spring system in St James has been reduced by 75 percent.

The NWC this is due to mechanical challenges at the facility.

As a result, customers who are served by this facility are either experiencing low water pressure or periods without piped water.

The affected areas are Bogue Hill, Bogue Heights, and surrounding areas.

The NWC says its maintenance team is working assiduously to resolve the issue and restore regular water supply by Monday, November 26, 2018.
