Firearm seized in Spanish Town, St Catherine, teen in custody

A female teen was taken into custody by the police in St Catherine in relation to the seizure of a firearm on Wellington Street in Spanish Town last night.
The police say a team was in the area about 11:50 p.m. when they saw the teen who aroused their suspicions.
She was accosted, searched and a Browning nine millimetre was found in a bag she was carrying, according to the police.
She was then taken into custody.
