American man dies in Manchester crash

Sixty-seven-year-old Vernmon Francis of Middleton Street, South Carolina in the United States died from injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle collision on the Content main road in Manchester on Wednesday.
The Kendal Police report that about 7:00 p.m. the driver of a motorcar that was heading towards Williamsfield allegedly overtook a lane of traffic.
Francis, who was coming from the opposite direction, swerved to avoid a collision and lost control of his motor vehicle.
Both vehicles crashed.
Francis, his passengers and the driver of the other motorcar were all taken to the hospital where Francis was pronounced dead and the others admitted in serious condition.
