4 new COVID-19 deaths, 153 additional cases

Jamaica on Sunday recorded four new COVID-19 deaths, increasing the tally to 93.

Three other deaths are under investigation, moving that figure to nine.

The deceased are:

* A 73-year-old female from Trelawny
* A 92-year-old male from Clarendon
* A 57-year-old male from Kingston and St. Andrew
* A 95-year-old male from Kingston and St Andrew

All of the deceased also suffered from comorbidities.

Meanwhile, there were 153 new cases with ages ranging from 1 month to 96 years, pushing the total to 6,170 with 4,250 being active.

Of the new cases, 70 are male and 83 are female

In the meantime, there were 35 more recoveries, increasing the total to 1,741.

Some 149 persons are in hospital with 26 being moderately ill and 10 critically ill.

And 20 persons are in government quarantine and 21,727 are at home.
