Tropical Battery, TransJam preference shares listing tomorrow

Energy storage company Tropical Battery, whose initial public offering opened and closed on the same day last week, will be listing preference shares on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) tomorrow.

The company was seeking to raise $325 million of equity from the market in an initial public offering of shares priced at $1 per unit.

The offer was oversubscribed. 

The Gleaner understands that TransJamaican Highway, which had an initial public offering and listed on the JSE earlier this year, will also be listing preference shares tomorrow.
