Secrets Wild Orchid's Barracuda beach, was transformed into a sea of white and a buffet set for a feast as American Airlines Montego Bay staff dressed to the hilt, came out in their numbers in a celebratory mood.

Montego Bay had done it again, and they had bragging rights and they knew it.

They have won the AA Customer Cup for the fourth time in six years, beating 22 cities in their categories.

Their customers had spoken, and compËre Tamara Salmon and Jeffrey Hunter, had declared that it was an exceptional evening and they were thrilled to be recognised by their bosses.

"Tonight is all about celebrating," the two declared, kick starting an evening of great fun, frolic, the awarding of the 20-year tenure to Orland Bailey.

During the night, they were entertained by a group of talented individuals who work at the airport by day, but could make a living on the cabaret scene at nights.

"This is an indication of strong leadership. They worked tirelessly to make this happen," was how senior vice-president of international and cargo, Jim Butler, described it while lauding the winning team.

Extremely heartened by the achievement of the Montego Bay station, Butler said clearly they were an incredible team. "That's what makes this award so special."

This is the fifth time that Jamaica has earned the cup, with Kingston airport AA team having won once.
