WESTERN BUREAU:

No less than seven minutes of fireworks lighting up the sky, more than two hours of music by one of the world's best band - Third World-complemented by sumptuous food stations that had the taste buds hungry for extras, was the scene that ushered in the official arrival of the country's newest all-suite luxury condominium resort - Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort and Spa.

On Sunday, September 24, hundreds turned out for the unveiling, and Sagicor Jamaica and its partners, Aimbridge Hospitality, did not disappoint, projecting the diamond of their six local properties.

Jewel Grande, formerly The Palmyra, boasts butler-appointed suites and stately villas on a beachfront oasis.

The new addition to the Jewel chain of resorts boasts three beachfront towers - Sabal, Silver and Sentry - and 11 expansive villas for a total of 217 fully stocked, tastefully appointed accommodation options. An assortment of dining offerings catering to discerning palates, personal butler service, 25,000 square feet of customisable meeting space, and an elaborate villa-inspired spa sanctuary are only a few of the noteworthy offerings gracing this island escape.

"Driven by Jamaica's deeply rooted tradition of hospitality and cultural vibrancy, we wanted to deliver a sophisticated travel experience that's uniquely our own," states Rohan Miller, CEO of Sagicor Real Estate X Fund Limited. "That said, we've tailored all touchpoints throughout our all-inclusive journey to provide elevated relaxation infused with local charm."

Jewel Grande is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality, a long-time operator for the Resort portfolio in both Jamaica and Orlando.
