There’s a new and exciting play in the job-seeking game. It’s one you’ll absolutely appreciate. It’s called Sabu. The game changer was introduced to a number of companies and prospective substitute employees, who eagerly awaited the opportunity to be among the first to sign up on its online platform. The exciting launch recently took place at the Courtleigh Auditorium.

Starting with fantastic bites of food, the morning’s event culminated when all gathered for the official presentation of Sabu. Guided by the host of the day, Terri-Karelle Reid, the audience’s appetite was whetted with enlightening information of the impacts the novel service will have.

Sabu is the Japanese term for subs, and this is exactly what the employment service offers.

The young and powerful general manager of Choice Business Solutions Limited (CBS) Calvin Malcolm is the brain behind Sabu. He explained that the new system is for everyone, even those with a steady nine to five and desirous of earning some extra change from a side job. He stressed that it’s also for persons, especially millennials, who want to work on their own time.

“With people you have to find the right fit, not the right person. There is no wrong person ... there is only the wrong fit. When someone comes into your organisation and their culture matches yours right away, you know this person belongs there. But that can’t guarantee how long that person will stay with you because today people switch jobs more than they change their phones. But millennials switch jobs even faster,” he said.

Malcolm emphasised that staffing has never been easier since the release of the platform. And having given it a test run, founder of managing director for Chilitos, Christopher Box, seconds the claim. Box also encouraged others to get on board and experience the benefits of the service.

Malcolm’s observation of the working world encouraged him to develop this entity he believes will make a significant impact on the economy. In addition, his experience at CBS, which has been providing HR solutions to companies for the past 16 years that
