SAJ staff celebrates Christmas with Marcus Garvey School

Members of staff of the Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) joined the students of Marcus Garvey School to celebrate Christmas.

The children were dressed up for the special day as cartoon heroes and comic book characters. They enjoyed the customary carolling, gift giving and feast of child-friendly foods planned for them by the committee.

The Marcus Garvey staff committee represents the SAJ staff members who provide a contribution towards lunches for the children from their salaries.

Committee members and volunteers attend school functions at this basic school in the Greenwich Farm community and participate in school activities.
