A delegation from The Bahamas, led by its Honorary Consul for the Commonwealth of The Bahamas in Jamaica, Alveta Knight (front row, left), recently met with executives of the Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) to discuss the establishment of bilateral relations between the two. The discussions, held at the association’s Newport West head office, centred on the SAJ’s role and business within the local maritime sector and the comparative experience of The Bahamas delegation, which included representatives from its shipping and housing sectors. The SAJ was represented by vice- president Corah Ann Robertson Sylvester (front row, second from left); chief executive officer; Trevor Riley (back row, second from right)’ and deputy general manager, Terrence Brooks (back row, right).
