CMU president meets with SAJ Managing Committee

President of the Caribbean Maritime University (CMU) Professor Andrew Spencer (second from left) is presented with a copy of ‘History of the Shipping Association of Jamaica, 1939-2005: Jamaica’s premier maritime institution’ from Shipping Association of Jamaica (SAJ) President William Brown. Also present are SAJ Vice-President Corah Ann Robertson Sylvester and Chief Executive Officer Trevor Riley. The presentation took place during a meeting at the SAJ’s Newport West head office last Tuesday. Professor Spencer, who took the reins of the CMU last September, met with the SAJ’s Managing Committee and shared his vision for the university, while committing to engage the member association to determine the industry’s needs and how the CMU can support them.
