Steel Pulse sizzles at Jamaica House

Steel Pulse's highly anticipated performance at Jamaica House in London was received with enthusiasm by those who turned out for the group's hour-long set at the 02 Arena on Wednesday night.
The English-based reggae band shared the spotlight with The Skints and Adrian Sherwood.
As satisfying as the music was, it was the unveiling of a Usain Bolt painting by the band's lead singer, David Hinds, that had patrons in the 02 cheering more than anything.
Minister of Culture, Gender Affairs, Entertainment and Sports Olivia Grange, collected the four-foot painting on behalf of Bolt.
Wednesday night was night four of a week of activities sponsored by the Jamaica Tourist Board and the ministry of culture.
Opening night, on Saturday, August 5 featured Freddie McGregor and Luciano. Sunday, August 6 saw the likes of Twinkle Brothers, The Natty Giddeon Family, and Jah Shaka. Tuesday, August 8 was praise and worship night, with Bishop John Francis and the Ruach City Church, among others.
Patrons have been eagerly awaiting performances by Ziggy Marley, Jesse Royal and Nesbeth, who will grace the stage tonight.
The races being run by the Jamaican team at the World Championships are broadcast live at the venue, so patrons don't miss out.
