WESTERN BUREAU:

Approximately 40 travel partners specialising in destination weddings were introduced to the exclusive one-of-a-kind bridal suite at Melia Braco in Trelawny last Saturday night.

The suite, all of three rooms, in addition to a make-up area, was unveiled to the travel and tourism experts by way of a mock wedding, spa treatment, and cocktail reception at the eclectic resort renown for its village setting.

"We have created a social area where the bride has her final brouhaha; a display area where she can meet with her romance specialist; make-up and massage, dressing pedestal, all complimentary," disclosed Angella Bennett, director of sales at Melia Braco.

Bennett had a captive audience in some of the biggest names in the business, and she made sure they were educated on the offerings of the resort, which was refurbished and renamed almost two years ago.

TODAY brings you highlights of the intimate event, staged amid soft pastel decor, floral arrangements, and accent pieces showcasing what one should expect on their special day.
