Known for exploring financial possibilities, the JMMB Group is also famous for treating their loyal corporate clients. But last Friday night, they went above and beyond, exceeding expectations with their annual corporate client mixer as red, gold and green reigned supreme at the Ranny Williams Centre on Hope Road.

Dubbed Yaad Fusion, the location was transformed into a street dance held in the middle of 'Halfway Tree'. Guests 'rock and come een' to enjoy sky juice from Juicy, peanut from the Peanut Man, Cane from the Cane Man and coconut from the Coconut Man as well as mannish water from Soupy.

Desserts like gizzada, coconut drops and asham, Hellshire fish galore, jerked pork and chicken from the jerk spot, and all you can drink from the open reggae bar. You couldn't get more authentic than that! Then to put the icing on top of an already sweet cake, there was zinc fence at the entrance, a replica of the 'Halfway Tree clock' in the middle of the venue, signs on the bathroom in patois, and a liquor license by the reggae bar stating their 'intension' to handle and distribute spirits.

And speaking of spirits, the retro-themed party was in 'high gear', thanks to DJ Bambino, with guests either finding the dance floor or making their space the stamping ground to boogie down. The formalities were brief, with JMMB's Group Marketing Manager, Kerry-Ann Stimpson hosting the proceedings.

After introducing the hardworking team and apologising for the absence of JMMB's Group Chief Executive Officer, Keith Duncan, chairman of JMMB Group, Archibald Campbell, took to the floor to thank there specially invited guests as they celebrate their 25th anniversary.

Once business was out of the way, it was a 'holiday', courtesy of Ding Dong and the Ravers Clavers. They took guests on a musical and dancing journey and had them actively participating with his performance. All in all, JMMB's Yaad Style takeover was a night to remember.
