We could not have asked for a more heartwarming event than the Women's Centre of Jamaica Foundation's 40th Anniversary Charity Ball, held at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel last Saturday night. We got to hear the stories of women who defied the odds and stigma placed on them due to teenage pregnancy, with a celebrity stamp of approval by actress and guest speaker Victoria Rowell.
