Classy styles and sweet KitKat treats came knocking on our doors recently, leaving fashionistas and dessert lovers in awe.

Maxie Department Store made a pop-up visit at the Gleaner's North Street offices, transforming a section of our Editorial Department into the classic runway.

Smart work outfits for fashion lovers of both sexes were on show. Aspiring models, too, made use of the opportunity to unleash their style.

SOME TREATS

After the display, the Nestle-owned chocolate factory, KitKat, released the premium flavours of their new cocoa and milk-based delicacies.

Larger blocked and chunky-sized KitKats, plus mint, limited gold, and white chocolate were some of the additions many had the chance to devour. But that's not all. The KitKat-coated red velvet cake was another luscious innovation the brand brought to us.

These toothsome goodies have not been released on the local market, but plans are in place to get them in pastry shops by the end of November.
