Seven persons and organisations were awarded for their work in volunteerism by the Council of Voluntary Social Services (CVSS) on Thursday, October 6, at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel under the theme 'Volunteerism - A Circle of Love'. Monsignor Gregory Ramkissoon, founder of the Mustard Seed Communities, was inducted into the CVSS Hall of Fame. He was recognised for his contribution to the upliftment of the poor and vulnerable, spanning four decades. Here are the highlights.
