There was a wave of youthful energy across the Jamaican diaspora last Thursday as the Global Jamaica Youth Group hosted Jamaica Youth Connect in Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States. Here are highlights from the event at the Jamaican High Commission in London. Back home, the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters’ Association hosted its Awards Gala at The Jamaica Pegasus on Saturday. Nestlé Jamaica Limited was nominated in three categories and walked away at the end of the night with the coveted Quality and Standard Award, presented by the National Certification Body of Jamaica.
