The Tru Tone Studio on Red Hills Road was flipped into party central last Saturday evening, with all COVID-19 social-distancing protocols observed, as it hosted Freddie McGregor’s 64th birthday party and virtual concert. Freddie was joined by special guests Naomi Cowan, his son Chino, Singing Sweet, Cat Coore, Dre Island and Chris Martin. They were backed by an all-star aggregation of musicians, who assembled to form the Big Ship Band. Here are some of the highlights.
