Jamaican cannabis company Jacana has officially opened the doors to its new Portmore location. The store, dubbed the home of Original, the new line of high-quality, affordable cannabis products, is located on the roof of the MacMaster Plaza in the Portmore Town Centre. In 2019, Jacana completed the first-ever international export of the Jamaican medical cannabis flower, securing multiple international licences and permits to date. Now the company has opened this location, which is the first of its kind in St Catherine. The new store will offer six new strains under the Original line and boast an entertainment lounge that shares the rooftop space. The founders have promised to capitalise on Jacana’s mission to create access for all to cannabis as the brand continues to grow. Something Extra brings you the highlights.
