Champion trainer Wayne DaCosta won his third feature race of the new season at Caymanas Park yesterday when 7-2 chance ALL CORRECT won the City of Kingston Centenary Cup high claiming race over a mile, with Shane Ellis aboard.

Always prominent on the rails as JACK DE CHARMER (41-1), with Jevanne Erwin aboard, led under pressure from STRIKING DISTANCE passing the half mile.

Saving ground on the inside rails approaching the home turn, ALSO CORRECT caught up with JACK DE CHARMER approaching the distance and soon gained the ascendancy to win by 4 1/2 lengths. JACK DE CHARMER held on by half a length for second from 7-5 favourite MR. LUVAL, the more-fancied stable companion of the winner, in a field of 12. DaCosta won this very race a year ago with ROYAL VIBES.

The winner, a 4-y-o bay filly by Region Of Merit out of Royal Pizzaz, is co-owned by the trainer's wife, Elizabeth, and Raymond 'Mitta' Rousseau and bred by Mark and Susan Wates.

DaCosta, the leading trainer so far this season with six winners, had a second winner when his speedy 3-y-o colt, POLLY B, romped the opening straight five race with Robert Halledeen up in the smart time of 57.4.

On a day when DaCosta and trainer Harry Parsard saddled two winners each, the Courtney Walsh-owned and Anthony Nunes-trained grey horse, THE REAL DRAFT (7-2), produced a terrific last furlong run (rails) under Jevanne Erwin to win the seventh race over 1200 metres - his third win over the distance in recent months.
