FOOTBALL: Reggae Boy McAnuff says composure and confidence key to tonight's matchup against Costa Rica

Despite his senior Reggae Boyz outfit surrendering the opportunity to beat Costa Rica inside the National Stadium in Kingston last Friday, attacking midfielder Joel 'Jobi' McAnuff believes they will take positives from the 1-1 draw for tonight's must-win return leg match.

At the same time, he is urging his team mates to ensure more clinical finishes and a "ruthless streak".

The England-based McAnuff was one of the most influential players for Jamaica in the first 45 minutes of Friday night's exciting contest.

Tuesday's duel with Costa Rica, a semi-final World Cup Qualifier is being held in San Jose.

Costa Rica is atop the group with seven points while Panama, are on four points, and currently ahead of Jamaica on goal difference.

Haiti are at the bottom on a point.                                  

Only the top two teams will advance to the final round.

"We need to go away in Costa Rica and do the job," McAnuff said Friday while conceding that the Reggae Boyz dropped the intensity against the visitors in the first leg, which cost the Jamaicans the three points.

Jamaica, however, does not have history on its side, as the Reggae Boyz have never beaten Costa Rica in Costa Rica.  

McAnuff says belief, composure and confidence is the key in Tonight's encounter.

"First time for everything, we are breaking down barriers and we got no fear going there on Tuesday," he said.

Jamaica has conceded six goals at home in three games, lost one and drew one, which the Reggae Boy admitted is a cause for concern.
